The Science Behind Animal Communication - Dispelling the Myth

Come and spend an evening with animal behaviorist, Mary Ann Simonds, as she scientifically explains the truth about humans communication with their animals. There is no magical path to follow; It is something everyone is capable of doing. We just need to believe and open our minds and hearts to trust that we are indeed "hearing" their thoughts, needs, expectations and joy!

Everyone has the ability to intuitively communicate with his or her animals or any other life form. It is as simple as tuning the radio to the right station. However, throughout our daily lives, we are often forced to operate in such a linear fashion that we have a difficult tuning in to the intuitive side of our mind. Learning how to operate and integrate between the "thinking" of our linear left brain and the "feeling" of our intuitive right brain are the first steps in opening the doors to better communication and understanding with our animals.

Mary Ann will spend the first hour sharing her wonderful stories, experiences and incredible insight. The last half hour will be an open forum for questions from the audience.

Mary Ann has joined the Faculty at the Equine Natural Movement School and will be teaching the following:

Advanced Series Work,
Horse Psychology and Wisdom

In this module students immerse themselves in learning how horses think and feel. This course is a highly experiential look into what goes on in the horse's body, mind, heart and soul.

Students study:

  • The Evolution of the Herd: Equine social structure and culture, how horses relate to each other and their environment, roles and relationships of different ages and sexes.

  • Equine Ethology: Understanding Equine Awareness and Consciousness, its relation to ecology and biology.

  • Applied Behavioral Ecology: Human/Horse Interactions, how humans affect horses.

  • Equine Behavior and Communication: What humans look at vs. how horses view the world. Understanding the biology, ecology, ethology and communication mechanisms of horses as a kindred social species.

The Equine Natural Movement Series Professional Training classes are held at Friendly Have Rise Farm in Battle Ground, Washington. For further information, please visit www.equinenaturalmovement.com

“Joseph and Mary Ann were presenters at the Northwest Horse Expo in February, what fun that was. Joseph admires her work so much he went and sat in on one of Mary Ann's courses last week. The woman is brilliant. She truly does speak horse and the horses understand and respond. No fluff, she outright knows the language.”

Regular teleclasses will be scheduled for future dates. Check this page for date and times.

What is a teleclass?
Teleclasses are live conference calls. Registered students receive a call-in number and password in order to gain access to the call. Teleclasses are digitally recorded. This allows registered students access to the call even if you are unable to attend at the scheduled class time. Class handouts are provided to all who take part in the class.

Question and Answer opportunities are provided throughout the live classes.
